Valorization plants
The Valogreene plants are non-hazardous solid waste material recovery plants that are integrated into a company in which Greene holds at least 50% of the shares.
The main activity of these plants is the collection of the rejection fraction of non-hazardous solid waste and its transformation into raw materials that are reintroduced into the market, thus completing the circularity process. It should be noted that, with this work, we avoid the incineration or burial of between 50 and 70 % of the waste, giving it a new life.
The first three plants are already under construction and the first one, located in Madridejos, is scheduled to start up in the last quarter of 2025.
